Hidden Gem of New Orleans. I was treated like family (one of the family members they love not one of those family members that complains about everything when they come to visit and everyone groans because they know that person never has a good day in their life} Entire meal was great. I eat my food I don't spend time analysing it. Drinks were better than great and if you don't stop in just to have a Cucumber Basil Lemonade something is wrong with your head. Sneak in a perfect portion of pecan pie. It will put a smile in your tummy.

We came to this place because it was right across the street from the ruby slipper which is where we wanted to eat but they had a two hour wait... after our experience here the two hour wait would’ve been worth it. Not only was the service terrible (keep in mind tip is included so they aren’t working for the tips, I would’ve left $0 if I could), the food was also not good. I ordered the biscuits and gravy which actually wasn’t too bad, but my friends ordered the all American breakfast sandwich which was supposed to have sausage, egg, cheese and potatoes.... it came with just soggy eggs and cheese. There are so many other good food places to choose from in New Orleans and I recommend going to any of them over this restaurant.

If I could change one thing about our trip it would be breakfast at this place. We wanted to try the Ruby Slipped but an hour and half wait was too long. This place was right across the street. I’m giving it a 3 for effort. Friendly staff, clean restaurant and the atmosphere was great but the food was a 2. I ordered Eggs Benedict and it was flat out disgusting. I took one bite and wanted to return it. The poached eggs were cooked solid and the sauce had some weird taste to it. the waitress didn’t even notice that nothing was eaten on my plate which is a nice way off saying, GROSS! My husband ordered a classic Fried eggs, bacon and toast and he was fine. Just not somewhere I would try again.

The food is sooo good!!!! Everything I ate at Estrella's was fabulous! The margaritas are the best! Conveniently located, and an awesome atmosphere. The history of the place is very interesting, educational, and the growing of New Orleans from past to present day. Wonderful!

Celebrated mother's birthday here and the food was really good. I don't remember what I got but my mother got steak and loved it. She's really picky about her steak but had no complaints. We were the only ones there at the time and the staff was friendly and really funny. It's a little princy, but good.
